PX-Type 90 Poncho

Excellent heavy weight poncho. Fits me well and Im 6'4 350lbs. It also is highly functional as a poncho in the rain for what that is worth! Very happy!

The sizing seems to be more L / XL than M / L. Definitely "oversized." Super high quality, heavy duty poncho. My first poncho, in fact. Very happy with the purchase. Looking forward to the rain! I got the M, but I'm only 5' 7" and a bit on the chunky side, and the poncho comes down to my mid-thighs. Highly recommended.

Definitely looks even better in person than in the photos. This Poncho gives an amazing futuristic vibes to the overall outfit, and also it keeps you warm during winter. Satisfied with the overall quality of it!

*disclaimer* This review is about the practicality of the poncho. If it were about the style it would be 5 stars. I bought the poncho in size M. I am 1.87m and weigh 90 kilograms. The fit of the poncho is amazing. The hood is large and covers my head properly. I love the look and feel of the fabric, it is heavy, it has large front pockets which is always useful. It fits very well with other Fabric of the Universe items and it is an awesome addition for photos hoots. The three star rating is because of how waterproof it is. Today the rainfall was very heavy. If I were to stand outside with no rain protection I'd be soaked within 30 seconds. I thought it was the opertune moment to test out the poncho. As you can see from the pictures the poncho didn't keep me fully dry. I was outside in heavy rain for about 5 minutes. I felt the cold from the rain within 30 seconds. The places were the hood and pockets are sewn on are definitely not waterproof. Normally I wouldn't expect high weather resistance from Fabric of the Universe clothing. But as you can see above, this Poncho is specifically advertised as a "Durable waterproof garment". I do think this poncho could withstand light rain. But if you are expecting a storm, I'd recommend going for a regular waterproof jacket. some possible improvements - replace the velcro with buttons - adjust the straps so they can be used to create a different look

Good heavy weight Poncho. I am always impressed with the basic quality of the products FotU offers. I am 184cm (tall) and 100kg (heavy) so the 'Large' fit me well, remember its a Poncho, meant to be over sized. They do like their tactical look, but seem bereft of any actual tactical experience. And it shows, to those that do :) Few improvements i'd suggest: - -The side closure velcro is useless, add a black press stud through the velcro patch. -The lashing tabs would be great if they were a Male - Female type fit so they could be joined, add another set on the top and it'll be able to be rolled up and stored while adding to the aesthetic.
